Our Services

NWI Auto Service and Towing provides light-duty towing, roadside assistance, tire service and auto repair for standard passenger vehicles, SUVs, light pickup trucks, minivans and motorcycles. We do not tow heavy-duty or commercial semi-trucks. By requesting a service by phone, text or in person, you agree to these terms.

Dispatch & Arrival Estimates

Any arrival time we give is an estimate, not a guarantee. Actual arrival can be delayed by severe traffic, weather, road closures, accidents, police activity, call volume and other conditions outside our control. We will keep you updated if we expect a significant delay.

Pricing & Payment

• We quote a price before work begins. If the job turns out to be different from what was described, such as a different location, vehicle condition or service, we will tell you the revised price before continuing.
• Payment is due upon arrival or upon completion of the service, as stated when the job is dispatched.
• Accepted payment methods are confirmed at dispatch.
• A vehicle may be held at our facility until the service charges are paid, as permitted by law.

Vehicle Owner Authorization

By requesting a tow, lockout or other service, you confirm that you are the registered owner of the vehicle or are authorized by the owner to request the service. We may ask for a driver's license, registration or other proof before opening, moving or releasing a vehicle, and we may refuse service if authorization cannot be confirmed. You agree to be responsible for any claim arising from a service you requested without proper authorization.

Customer Responsibilities

• Remove or secure personal belongings before your vehicle is towed or left at our facility. We are not responsible for loss of, or damage to, personal items left in a vehicle.
• Give accurate information about your location, your vehicle and its condition, including any known damage, leaks, missing keys or modifications such as lowered suspension.
• Follow safe practices while waiting: stay clear of traffic and follow the directions of our driver and any police on scene.
• Tell us about any special handling needs, such as all-wheel drive, before we hook up.

Limitation of Liability

Roadside and towing work carries inherent risks. We take reasonable care with every vehicle, but to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Pre-existing damage, wear or mechanical failure, including damage revealed or worsened during a service through no fault of ours.
• Damage that commonly results from a requested service despite reasonable care, such as during a lockout on vehicles with fragile door or window mechanisms, or a jump-start on a vehicle with a failing battery or electrical system.
• Delays caused by traffic, weather or other conditions outside our control.
• Indirect or consequential losses, such as lost wages, missed appointments or alternative transportation costs.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service involved. Report any damage you believe we caused before the driver leaves, or as soon as possible afterward, so we can review it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable law that cannot be waived.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, where our shop is located, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you request a service applies to that service.
